Changed your mind? Ask within 14 days of any payment and you get a full refund of that payment. No questions asked.
This policy applies to Nodra's paid plans (Pro and Max), which you buy from our reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle issues every refund. It is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Our 14-day refund
You can get a full refund of any payment to Nodra if you ask for it within 14 days of the date of that payment. This covers the first payment of a subscription, the charge for an upgrade, and every renewal, monthly or annual. You do not need to give a reason, and it does not matter how much you used Nodra.
After a refund:
- if you refunded the first payment or a renewal, the subscription is cancelled and your account moves to the Free plan;
- if you refunded the charge for an upgrade, your subscription goes back to the plan you had before.
Either way, none of your current data is deleted. The rules for moving to a lower plan apply (Terms, section 6): you can still read, edit and delete everything, and your previous history period keeps applying for 30 days.
2. After 14 days
After 14 days, a payment is no longer refundable, but you can cancel at any time to stop the next renewal. You keep your paid plan until the end of the period you have paid for. This does not affect your statutory rights: if the service does not conform to what we promised, if we close your paid account without any fault on your part, or in the other cases described in our Terms, you are entitled to a refund of the unused part of the period you have paid for.
3. Changing or cancelling your plan
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund the current period, which you keep until it ends, unless you ask for a refund within 14 days of the payment (section 1).
- Upgrading between paid plans charges the prorated difference immediately. That charge is itself refundable within 14 days.
- Downgrading between paid plans (Max to Pro, or annual to monthly) takes effect immediately. It does not refund money to your card: Paddle credits the unused part of what you paid towards your future payments.
4. Your legal right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have a legal right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving any reason. For a service that you asked to start straight away, the law would allow the seller to keep an amount in proportion to what you already used.
Our 14-day refund in section 1 is more generous: it covers the same 14 days, and every renewal, with a full refund whatever you used. To withdraw, simply ask for a refund as described below; any clear statement that you want to withdraw is enough. Paddle's Buyer Terms describe the withdrawal right for purchases made through Paddle.
5. How to ask for a refund
- Use the link in the receipt email Paddle sent you after the payment, or find your order at paddle.net; or
- email us at legal@nodranotes.com from the email address of your Nodra account, with the date of the payment, and we will ask Paddle to refund it.
A request made within the 14 days counts even if the refund is processed later. Paddle refunds the payment to the payment method you used, in the same currency, including the tax you paid. How long it takes to reach you depends on your bank or card issuer.
6. Chargebacks
If you do not recognise a charge or something went wrong, please contact us or Paddle first: a refund is usually faster than a chargeback. If you open a chargeback with your bank, Paddle handles it. While it is open, or if it succeeds, the subscription may be cancelled and your account moved to the Free plan; your data is not deleted.
