FAQ
Yes, to start. Nodra syncs an Obsidian vault, so you install the Nodra plugin in Obsidian on your computer. After that you can open and edit the vault from any browser at app.nodranotes.com.
On a Managed account, yes: Nodra's server keeps an escrow of your keys, which is what lets you recover everything through your login email. Turn on Private mode and not even we can read your notes. The trade-off is that you keep an Encryption Password, a Secret Key and a Recovery Kit, and if you lose all three, nobody can recover your data.
No. Private mode is available on every plan, Free included. You can switch to it from your account settings at any time.
Nothing. Your vault is a normal folder of Markdown files on your computer. Remove the plugin and keep using Obsidian exactly as before.
No. The web app is Nodra's own Markdown editor, with live preview, wikilinks, tags, frontmatter and backlinks. Obsidian plugins keep running in Obsidian.
Nodra merges edits that don't overlap. When they do overlap, it keeps both versions, one of them as a conflict copy next to the note, so nothing is lost and your file never fills with conflict markers.
